For the calculation area of shuttering you must know how to calculate peripheral length that is the perimeter of any shape. Perimeter is the distance around a 2D shape. For example, a square has four sides determine one side length is 'S'.
Then peripheral length =S+S+S+S=4S
For the perimeter of square =4S
For the perimeter of rectangular =2(L+B)
For the perimeter of circle =2*pi*r
