Setting
out a building is s the process of transferring
architectural proposals from drawings into the ground. It establishes the
location points for site boundaries, foundations, columns, center-lines of walls and other necessary
structural parts.
CENTRELINE METHOD
Step-1
Draw the centreline of a given plan and delete unwanted items. The centreline drawing of the wall is ready.
Step-2
Take a copy of the centreline drawing plan and taking offset 6 cm from the centreline of the outer wall otherwise, it will say.
Step-3Step-2
Take a copy of the centreline drawing plan and taking offset 6 cm from the centreline of the outer wall otherwise, it will say.
Taking offset 22.5cm for basement floor, 30cm for foundation and 40cm for PCC from centreline. Trim unwanted lines. The setout plan for the foundation is ready.
Step-4
Mark name for each line
