Components of Under Reamed Pile

Under-ream piles are commonly used in India especially as a solution for structures in black cotton soil regions. Under-reamed pile foundations are bored cast-in-situ concrete piles with one or more bulbs or under-reams. The bulb is formed by enlarging the stem of the pile near the bottom in a double conical shape.
